THE “CHANNELING” PHENOMENON AND THE MAYAN PROPHECY
Is mankind heading towards predicted events that will change history?

“Channeling is as old as mankind. There have always been people capable of joining, under states of expanded (or altered) consciousness, in order to receive guidance, revelations, and prophecies. We have called these people psychic, prophets, oracles and visionaries: Men and women who bring God’s word (or other entities) to the people. The Old Testament prophets, the Oracle of Delfos and the constant proportionate guide for the Oracle Nacung, the Tibetan Budhist, leaders of the common people, are examples of what we now call channeling. Given that channeling has transformed, recently, into a popular phenomenon associated with the New Era, it’s easy to think it’s only that: A New Era technique. However, tuning into the transpersonal realms of consciousness, in search of inspiration and clarity, has marked the evolution of our religions, our arts, our philosophies and even our sciences, since the beginning of mankind”.

The politics of PARANORMAL AND CULTURE has been kept like an option between religion and the sciences, since it originated, maintaining that at some future date they will merge, when both expressions of human intelligence exceed their reserved dogmas and their concerns – to say the least – the conception of the Unity of Life…any theory about the so called Unified Field, on behalf of science, would represent an effort in the sense of physical understanding of the universe, but it doesn’t seem possible, as for the actual vision that refers to human beings, divided between matter and spirit, that the human kind experiences what is called Unity…
Channeling is a phenomenon that’s there, for whatever reason, and it’s necessary to study it and to understand it. First, because it’s penetrating human culture at the same time that the badly named “globalization”, and second, because it’s manifestation is advancing, for good or bad, a change of attitude before certain possibilities of the human psyche and conscience, whose development doesn’t exactly interest any dogmatic position.
CHANNELING AND SOME OF ITS IMPLICATIONS
The same is happening, at present, with the channeling phenomenon as with the crop circles: one doesn’t know what’s more amazing: if the fact that those extraordinary designs appear from one day to the next, sketched by an invisible hand and forced to yield stalks loaded with wheat and to exhibit patterns of significant complexity and growth, or the apparent indifference on behalf the official representatives of human society, who not only ignore them, but conspire to trivialize them and to “explain” them falsely or deny them as a sign of intelligence and what they ultimately are: a SIGN.
Channeling, in itself, is not new. It is, perhaps, the most ancient phenomenon ever registered since the first “sacred” books emerged in human consciousness as mythical testimonies that man had once spoken, face to face, with the gods and celestial beings or heard voices resounding deep within their brains, referring cosmogony, rigorous moral codes, sometimes vague and other times with precise knowledge or, as is the case today, at the beginning of the XXI century, announcing relevant details of events on course or yet to come.
There are numerous modern works dictated through channeling that not only have a determining influence on local and global culture, but also, in fact, are impacting in the same manner those who read or investigate them, possibly meaning important changes in human conscience and worldwide society. We are going to mention only two of these channeling works as an example: “The Urantia Book”, that is, The Book of the Earth, which narrates the history of our planet, millions of years before the 6,000 that a lot of religions attribute to not only the history, but the creation of the world and universe itself. “Conversations With God” which has more than three volumes and numerous editions that, after its position as best seller and through easy dialogue, transmits a valuable teaching to the reader, insists that it’s necessary for human beings to renounce the fear and the blame and generations of servitude, to finally be able to assume control of their own destiny, which coincides with the main subject matter of numerous other sources.
Who would present themselves as nothing less than the very same God, who, on page 23 of the Third Volume, defines Himself in the following manner?:
“I am God and Goddess, Supreme Being, the Almighty, Beginning and End, Alpha and Omega…I am the total Substance, Question and Answer, Superior and Inferior, Right and Left, Here and Now, Before and After. I am the Light, and the Darkness that caused the Light to become possible. I am Goodness without end and the “Evil” which makes the “Goodness” good. I am all these things, the All in All, and I cannot test any part of my Being without testing All my Being…I am All Magnificent and I intend to know myself experimentally: I do it through you and all that exists…I am God in the act of creating my own Being. You also exist: this is what your soul craves and your spirit yearns for…I AM what I AM…and therefore, I AM NOT: THIS IS DIVINE DICHOTOMY”….
Wisdom is not lacking and the work (deed) will bring them. God and Goddess claim our attention because it’s stated in the mythical traditions that this Creation is essentially bipolar, feminine-masculine. The truth that is reflected in practically all historical cultural manifestations where religion is always a constant: the reverence to the Mother, the Mother Land, which thrived excellently in our Native America like a song of love, but which being kept by those who conquered and plundered these Lands, we wouldn’t be, maybe, today, on the edge of ecological collapse!
By not having spoiled the pristine religiosity of man, for whatever reason, we have truly reencountered the Unity and existence of the benevolent family…the badly named Western Civilization who orchestrated that shame called slavery and made longer servitude of the money, seeming to not have sufficient ability nor worth to correct their acts of savagery, subsisting behind socioeconomic and military types, causing more suffering now than ever!
Now, who generates the channeled information? This question should be plain, but a great Spanish scholar, Ignacio Darnaude, has referred, in a very interesting manner, to this red-hot subject maintaining that on one can respond to this question with certainty.
Anyway, the American writer, Rhea Powers, author of the extraordinary channeling work, “Changes of the Earth”, refers to three types of channeling:
This final case would be a kind of auto-channeling where the subject accedes pre-consciously from a transpersonal linked to his or her own trustworthiness.
Many devotional persons insist that God “exists”, ignoring that – by definition – all existence is finite, that is to say, that it has a beginning and an end…then God IS; somehow, that which is finite, like the physical body and personality, belong to the designated beginning, the soul, capable of learning through the existential experience, connected, in turn, to a “Being” or “Super Ego”, which, according to the great mystics represents a manifestation straight from the Creation to the inner man, making up the transpersonal domain, from which the Unity of Life could experience self.
Apparently it’s not possible to have any certainty as for the channeling itself, but to recognize later on the style and thematic tendencies. However, a practical methodology exists, which we are going to sum up like this:
It infers that the problem of the channeling, essentially, is not a problem of sources, but of content…what does it state? Clarify? Is it comparable? Allows understanding? Does it emit light? What does it correlate with? Is it ample?
But is it possible to “seriously” study this subject? May there exist, perhaps, someone “serious”, as well as committed to interpret and decipher the thousands of pages whose authorship is supported, merely, by someone – generally without sufficient degrees, and sometimes without any – who says they receive messages from an unknown dimension telepathically, psycho-graphically, or clairvoyantly? Personally, we dare to say yes, citing only the extraordinary analyst, Dr. Jacques Vallee, (who has degrees and humility in excess) an astrophysicist and doctor of Computer Science and a specialist in what he himself calls “the psycho-social implications of the phenomenon”.
Without a doubt, the Internet is the kind of brain cell, worldwide network and virtual awareness that is already beyond the hands that created it for military purposes, and daily converts itself by unorthodox means and produces what some would call “critical mass”. This is to say, interconnection, in one way aimed at the exponential, avid, enlarged conscience to deepen their knowledge and wisdom: there already exist networks like Anahuak, The Light Network, and Atlantis Network, which have come about by alternative means of great impact, and used by active groups interested in knowing the Truth, that is to say, those things that have been deliberately hidden from mankind to divulge, in an instantaneous and effective way, beyond whichever dogmatism has been repressed or suppressed ….and in this way, those who are looking are encountering a lot of knowledge by conventional means. All this, without a doubt, possesses a political potential that has begun to manifest, covering long distances and levels ever since primitive Christianity began to burst into the global society of its epoch.
The information generated by the channeling is penetrating, for good or bad, the minds and consciences of those capable of using these means, taking the information down and spreading it, and, we repeat, producing the “critical mass” phenomenon. That is to say, meeting, for whatever reason, communicating, or meeting again with a growing group of people interested in these contents.
Anyway, there are thousands of books out there and their impact on society is overwhelming… How does the reader think that Saint John received the prophecy for the Book of Revelation?
“I, John, your partner and brother in the tribulation, in the patience and Kingdom of Jesus Christ, was in the island called Patmos, because of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit in the day of the Lord, and I heard behind me a great voice like a trumpet, that said, I am Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End: Write down what you see”…
In terms that Princeton University calls “Engineering of Anomalies”, “I heard behind me” signifies clairvoyance, that is to say, paranormal phenomenon by means of one person hearing what is said in his ear without visually being able to perceive who said it. Furthermore, he declares that he had “visions” which is associated with clairvoyance. Likewise, his declaration that he “was in the spirit” could well refer to an “out of body experiences”.
We’re talking effect, not rationality. If we were to analyze everything that has influenced human history in terms of rational or irrational we would have to conclude, after listening to what’s been suggested, (and in a very respectable manner in regards to the representatives who have proudly called this “science”), that it is necessary to investigate once again and to redefine all the acts that form said same: human history.
We don’t deny, nor are we against, what’s been called “Reason”…nor does it bother us. We simply think that it represents a necessity for total normalcy. Although it seems to us that to be able to reach that which is real, the truth, we have to, at times, lean out beyond limits, especially self-imposed limits, without forgetting that “all great truth was first heresy ”…
So we better continue speaking of impact. We maintain that there exists sufficient documentation to affirm that human history has been determined, by a high percentage, on speeches and guidelines originated in sources very, but very, similar to these phenomenon, yet on nothing modern but on what these paranormal experts call CHANNELING. That is to say, information of the moral religious-mystic type, even though on certain occasions these were classified as “scientific”, coming from no fully identified sources, and today being declared paranormal. Phenomenon extremely inseparable from its counterpart: the OVNI/ET phenomenon. To accept it, on the other hand, means to accept what some have called Open History: that is to say, intervened.
We will then speak on the impact of the following terms, rational and reasonable: Who can deny that the three greatest religions to have influenced Western Civilization due to what Huntington rated as “War of Civilizations” and international acts that the President of one of the most influential nations in the World has encouraged on behalf of two words that no one (October 2005 and the dawn of the XXI Century) has analyzed in depth so far: “TERROR” and “ANTI-TERROR”? We’ll repeat, who can deny that these three great religions have complied and have acted historically to determine real variables from “revelations”, “channelings” or “inspired ideas” from sources furthest from verification, rationalization and sensory?
It’s healthy to show that our focus deliberately omits the problem of a natural entity, or of the channeled entities, in case it is determined that it is really about a conscience that is totally different from that of the channeled person or the recipient. We are leaving the benefit of the doubt for the skeptics even though the author is convinced that these entities are “real”, that is to say, different and autonomous with respect to the receiving subject, at least as far as the most notable cases are concerned and classifying them under a general category tentatively called “Extra-human Intelligence”.
Well, now, if it’s about God or a god, extraterrestrials, beyond-terrestrials, Angels, divine beings or demons, etc., without excluding collective unawareness, the Being or “Super Ego” of the recipient is something that remains open for many scholars; there are those who would insist, on their part, interpreting everything within a religious context which is enough reason to respectfully leave everything to their own conscience from a methodological point of view. We’ll repeat that the author prefers, for the time being, to linger solely on the contents of this channeling.
We insist that we are not affirming that that which some thinkers have called “rationalization” represents the only source of consciousness or human experience. Be it far from us to imagine, because we know that the most profound motives for the conduct of man are not simple and the more serious things have not been understood. We only want to draw attention to a modern phenomenon that is generating impact, at least in very deserving groups. But we don’t have the space to analyze them now in order to consider the channeling content that is actually circulating in the worldwide network.
Neither is it our intention to disqualify these, sometimes, very interesting contents. Not only because they seem on course while elaborating on what was originally provided, apparently, by these same sources, but because, in fact, they are contributing philosophy and periods of great reflection on the actual crisis experienced by humanity in the overall field, at least in reference to the following points:
It is important to show that the attitude of rejection, very normal if you will, before the phenomenon called “channeling” is attributed to, and refers, on first expression, to other dimensions as much as to the collective nature of the psychic who is not of the general public domain and who deserves, at the very least, an introductory focus that is not possible in this referenced framework.
THE MAYAN PROHECY
Why call this “The Mayan Prophecy”? The reason is powerful due to the feeling and ancient idea that had no effect whatsoever on January 31, 2000 when something that had been hypothetically predicted by certain trends as “the end of the world” did not occur. And yet they failed in the announcement that related to certain prophecies, which should have been associated exclusively to interpretations and not to the more important prophetic contents that allude to the end of certain things and the beginning of other “new” or different things, in the sense that “man’s evil deed” would not exist as a determining factor to the human crisis.
There was also the problem of different calendars, like the Hebrew, the Gregorian, etc., and the possibility that they would introduce flaws in the measurements, to which a lot of authors have made corrections for years, and have come by 22 or more interpretations. It is advisable to emphasize here the quality of the Mayan chronology and calendar, accepted by special agencies because their calculations differ very little.
Furthermore, it is necessary to understand, with respect to the sequence of time that in the vector or the arrow of chronological time we designate “the future” (indeterminate time), that the most important thing to consider, on first expression, is what we have called “the invariable settings” and in second place, the behavior of the cycles that control and determine the evolutionary process of all that exists, of which, the most known is the Gaia orbital cycle around it’s own star, our Sun. We must consider, in third place, those variables dependent on human acts, speaking individually and collectively, in functioning laws like Cause and Effect. It is necessary to show here that the tree of probabilities which contains the future of mankind within Free Will, and is directly related to the present performance of man, since the past is already invariable, by which the future would depend, notably, on the human action of here and now, speaking individually and socially, which implies, in turn, that any realization could, if expanded, decidedly modify that future.
Planet Earth and mankind commonly experience great changes or movements in the matter of conscience and the perception of reality.
The Central American Mayan civilization was and still is the most advanced in regard to the knowledge of the science of time. Their main calendar is the most precise in the planet since it has never failed. Said civilization possessed a total of 22 calendars, which covered the multiple temporary cycles, in the universe as well as in the Solar System: some of those calendars have yet to be disclosed.
The fifth Mayan world ended in 1987. The sixth world which they referred to begins in 2012, so at present we exist “between two worlds”, a time called “Apocalypse” or revelation, which signifies that the real truth will be revealed. It is also a time that we should strive inwardly, either individually or collectively.
The sixth Mayan world is in reality blank, ready for construction: it signifies that it depends on us, as co-creators, to now begin creating a new world and the civilization that we yearn for!
We summarize, then, the essence of the Mayan prophecy which doesn’t refer to any “end of the world”, but to profound changes, as much physical order (MATTER) as psychic order and consciously (THE HUMAN ESSENCE): of course, if something alters matter and human life it would alter all living things. It is basically a message of hope and watchfulness that the Mayan culture left recorded for present mankind as they foresaw the change of time of the last great solar cycle of 5.125 years and especially the last KATUN or period of 20 years for the last solar cycle, that is to say, from 1992 to 2012 of our own solar calendar.
Actually, we all notice a certain “Apocalypse” in our own lives and in the world: wars, pollution, meteorological disasters, tornados, floods, considerable climactic changes, the fall of the supposedly secure social and global systems…on the whole, the human race or “thinking species” does not live in harmony.
The Bible said that times of Apocalypse will come. The Mayans knew that all that is happening would happen, in fact, it is now that the elderly and wise of the ancient cultures have welcomed us saying, “We’ve been expecting you”. That is why the Mayans left a guide, so that each one of us would be able to take himself to a New Era, at the DAWN OF A NEW GALAXY.
Based on the conclusions of scientific and religious studies and the functioning of the universe, the “7 Mayan Prophecies” is the Guide.
The Mayans say that the first prophecy has to do with the end of fear of hate and materialism in the world. They state that it will end on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Then humanity will have to choose between disappearing as a thinking race who threatens the planet with destruction or evolving towards harmonious integration with the whole universe, understanding that everything is alive and conscious, that we are part of all this and can exist in a New Era of Light.
At the start of 1999 we had 13 years left in which to change our journey from destructive to a change of attitude toward the consciousness, so that we can fit in with all that exists.
The Mayans knew that the SUN, or as they called it, KINICH-AHAU, is a living, breathing organism that at certain times synchronizes itself with the enormous organism, the galaxy, in which it exists, and that it shines more intensely upon receiving a spark of light from the center of the galaxy, producing in its surface what scientists call “solar eruptions”. The Mayans say that this occurs every 5.125 years and that the Earth is affected by the changes in the SUN, through a displacement of its rotating axis. It was predicted that great cataclysms would be produced (until 2012) from these movements. For the Mayans, the processes of the respiration of the galaxy are cycles and they never change. What changes is the awareness of men who always pass through with a process toward perfection. The Mayans predicted that from the year 3.013 A.C. and 5.125 years into the future, that is to say, Saturday, December 22, 2012, the SUN, upon receiving a strong beam synchronized from the center of the galaxy, would change its polarity and produce a gigantic and radiant outburst. Mankind would have to be ready to go through the portals that the Mayans left for us transforming the current civilization which is based on fear, into a much higher vibration of harmony. Only by an individual way can anyone go through the portal to avoid the great cataclysmic that the planet will suffer to give a beginning to a new era, a sixth cycle of the SUN in 5.125 years.
The Mayans assured that their civilization was the 5th civilization illuminated by the SUN, the fifth great solar cycle (QUINTO AOL), and that there had existed on the Earth another 4 civilizations that were destroyed by great natural disasters. They believed that each civilization was only a rung in the rise of mankind’s collective consciousness. For the Mayans, their civilization was destroyed by a great flood in the last cataclysm and there were few survivors of which they were descendant; they thought that upon knowing the final cycles a lot of human beings had been successful in preserving the thinking species on the planet, mankind, just by being prepared. They tell us that the change in seasons has permitted us to climb a rung on the evolutionary ladder of consciousness, leading us towards a new civilization that will live in greater harmony and understanding for all human beings.
The first prophecy spoke of “THE TIME OF NO TIME”, a period of 20 years or KATUN, of the final 20 years of the great cycle of 5.125 years, that is to say, from 1992 to 2012; it was prophesied that during these years spots capable of generating solar winds (corona matter in a state of plasma) would intensify over the surface of the SUN and from 1992 mankind would enter into a period of great learning, great changes, emphasizing that our own predatory conduct of the planet will contribute to these changes happening.
The 1st prophecy says that these changes will permit mankind to understand how the universe functions so we can advance toward these superior levels of consciousness and leave behind materialism and free ourselves from suffering.
The Sacred Mayan Book, CHILAM BALAM, says: “At the end of the last Katun (1992-2012) there will be a time when you will be immersed in the darkness and then the men of the SUN will come, bringing the future sign. The Earth will awaken from the North and West, ITZA will awaken”.
There is very intelligent and prudent dissidence in this land from the inside, such as the following, caught in The New Groups of the Harvest, redanahuak and cropcircleconnector.com:
“I have no idea if the years 2007 and 2012 are years of marked events that will change the course of mankind. What I am sure of is that the daily events, especially from the ones who display power, are threatening and destroying the stability of the planet and obstructing the course of the divine plan. I am also convinced that these practices and their disastrous consequences could change direction if mankind, with good conscience, causes it. The free will of its creatures is the most valued in the universe and what deity respects most, for they will not do what we will not do for ourselves… things are happening, though fragile and discreet, that fill me with hope: I’m believing more and more that the conscience, little by little, is awakening” – lizapalm@prodigy.net.mx .
Of course, Science does speak of a divine plan… neither does it speaks of intelligence when it refers to the universe: it prefers to refer to the stars as “inert bodies” and of evolution as a “random” result. When one looks up the term “matter” in certain dictionaries produced in “materialistic” socio-political experiments, like the named “True Socialist”, inspired by Marxist-Leninist, you’ll find that in them the conscience is referred to as a by-product of matter. Which does not stop being interesting within the positions that connect the atom, not only with energy but with intelligence. If that experiment, which permitted capitalism, doesn’t come to a standstill, another form of socio-political decadence, which Teilhard de Chardine proposed to annihilate in what he called “the Law of Complexity-Awareness”. For example, the illustrious archaeologist and priest describes how these particles work out just how to join molecularly, manifesting at first as living molecules and subsequently – within an evolutionary process – as different cerebral structures in development, even catching up with humanity. Now in the human phase the underlying atomic conscience is capable of recognizing itself as CONSCIENCE of the being who brought it about. Even the appearance of the noosphere, to – finally – accede the Omega Point! Apparently this approach does not exclude the soul, but rather, involves it.
Objectively speaking, those who interest themselves in mankind’s immediate future only count on the following:
The events can be summarized like this: climatic change, worldwide political-economical crisis with possible war confrontations, ecological deterioration, overpowered nations, and global poverty and hunger. All which can be summed up in an undeveloped patent of the successful human conscience, or better said, not successful, along the great process that Teilhard named the evolutionary process of life, the integration of the noosphere and the Omega Point.
This summarizes the 7 prophecies. Now we’ll sum up the channelings that are welcomed at present.
THE CIRCULATING CHANNELING
Those who are running information towards the humans, through different channels, concerning the events on course and to come in the immediate future, could be classified in five principle sources. Heeding their origin and self same presentation, that is to say, paying attention to the manner in which they identify themselves:
Without prejudging the Messianic burden, mystical and/or mythical, that this presupposes, we should recognize, without any fear, which great part, from the arguments set forth, not only possess intelligence, but that some definitely transmit a profound scientific and rational, if not ethical, content.
We see an example in relation to something so everyday and apparently harmless, like mass spreading or mass manipulation, if we are to abide by what is suggested by critics like McLuhan³ … to not speak of the ‘pleyadinos’, since this is the way they auto-present themselves, and who, through the American medium, Barbara Marciniak, do a sharp criticism by means of television, involving an appeal to attention against the manipulation that these mediums practice, generally, against the misadvised television viewers (“Earth, Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library, Bear and Company Publishing, 1995 pg. 69):
“In this information age, you will frequently turn way from sources that would permit you to get information. You have sold out to the idea that television represents a great informational source, proclaiming this influential instrument as one of the greatest inventions of this century. Your resources, however, are held and controlled by those who desire to keep you distracted and unaware: with frequent versions pre-selected from reality while ignoring others completely. Television retards our evolutionary process, limiting, especially, the youth. When we are young, first impressions and our imagination play a fundamental role in the development of our lives. Television keeps us inside a tightly stretched band of emotions, basically constraining us by fear or chaos. Today, more than ever before, exists a great campaign to sell televisions and to subscribe to cable television; they urge us to remain “glued” to the television screen where they re-create the latest scandal and violence, as if their programs were the most important in the world.
Learn to observe how you feel after watching these programs: IT IS ABOUT A FORM OF CONTROL THROUGH FREQUENT USE, control which speeds up, in one tremendous way that causes great terror throughout the planet, by means of this one single instrument. The great majority of people on the Earth are being hypnotized, at this moment, by television. We exhort you, urgently to experience life in a direct manner, not just through pre-fabricated images and somebody else’s ideas. You are harming your conscience and whatever potential you have every time you surrender yourself body and soul to the television: you are suppressing your imagination by not utilizing one of the most magnificent gifts that you possess. A great sorrow will be understood in the centuries to come, of how, in the second half of the XX century, people allowed themselves to be induced into states of mental confusion and were virtually obliged to behave in a dreamy and sickly manner by means of television. Do not permit yourself to substitute experience: KEEP YOUR TELEVISIONS UNPLUGGED!”
The speech could not be more radical and it is indispensable to read the whole work to convince oneself of the clearly determinate contents that it transmits.
The channelings that we wish to emphasize deal with the term “Worker of Light”. One of the beings that have channeled both the simplest and the most profound, as well as comfortable messages: Sanat Kumara defines the term in his own words:
“A Worker of Light is one who redeems, consciously, the role of individual dharma, in which his actual manifestation is involved, and is aware of being a silent member of a universal team of Beings dedicated to awakening the conscience to the real truth of the identity of the team of called individuals who represent the All Being … they work to bring light, illumination and elevation to all collective parts of the conscience to which they belong.” (Earth Changes, Rhea Powers, Vergara Editor, 1994).”
“As with channeling, there actually exists a group of human beings on the Earth born to help in the transition that nears. Said in passing, it has stopped being prophetic, that is to say, that it’s course is perfectly well defined and promoted, at least in regards to the climatic changes and certain political outcomes, determined in two or three possible settings … these beings already born – we’ll repeat – with all the characteristics of the referred “Light Beings” each time collecting more conscience in their appropriate condition and they will gather, making critical mass, in a manner to counteract the thought and the acts of that other component of humanity represented by those who provoke and maintain unbalance and destruction”.

Remember, by virtue of the laws of cause and effect you are also responsible for your own creations…”
It would be interesting to ask in which measure the content of these words are coincidental with the political analysis of the emerging worldly South Wind, whose leaders are establishing once again the need to socialize the Earth. The planet socialization, on the other hand, does not represent any perverse tendency but a perfectly historical developing necessity, by which mankind and the history of mankind have been constructed so far. Simply, it has stopped being dysfunctional and has turned into a threat, not only from the point of view of the social and political outcome itself, but the ecological unbalance and climatic change that’s on course.
It doesn’t seem justified to rate the socialist experience in the USSR as an absolute failure: affirming it would be equivalent to a simple position and would be eluding a universal context, within which this same power structure would object hegemoniously, that today would seem to express itself as ‘mono-polarity’, that would figure to be an expression of strength that is, essentially, trans-nationals. The exploitation of man by mankind, on the other hand, and the necessity that this same society develop systems that obtain universal justice, represent a shortage found and echoed in the Real Socialist, of whom apparent failure will not inhibit, at least it shouldn’t, the reappearance of other movements demanded from mankind, at least in the proper context of actual globalization. The apparent failure of this socialism, better said, of this form of socialism, is due to the standard of ideas conceived by those who established it. From Castro to Marx, it was not perceived that that which we call the human spirit is an integral part of the expression “material”, like the actual man, inserted in an actual society, and that all revolution should also revolutionize the conscience of its actors. When Marx stated, for example, that “religion is the people’s opium”, he obviously referred to, or should have referred to, what is historically “the Religion”: something that is represented by the dogmatic churches, which, when they have not allied themselves with the dominant elite have converted themselves, in manipulation and domination factors. Will not liberate, which means there’s a salvageable religion in power liberated by human conscience, in function with its unity, like Teilhard de Chardine would suggest. We want to see an intent in the “Real Socialist” (unsuccessful?), that will produce social justice and awareness, but its apparent failure does not in any way imply, or shouldn’t and couldn’t, an abandonment of one’s principles on the part of human society in the sense of finding a road of love and justice to express itself as a worldwide collective.
In general, the achieved results, which a balanced global socio-political rebels against, signals to us a social failure: poverty, hunger, violations of human rights, terrorism, the State to repress and attain goals which respond to created interests and in part by groups who respond, in that way, to ancient historical aggression, servitude, false democracies and liberties … all the result of egoism and lack of love. It was well put by a philosopher who said that the story of the West could be summed up as the forgotten story of the Being.

Our Internet reference does not signify, on the other hand, that the so called Network of networks would destroy, necessarily, society, but rather, in the measure in which its influence grows, that same society should implement forms of controlling its impact on those sectors that are not disposed toward critical formation, in the manner that they will be capable to direct the extraordinary volume of information that they will be able to access indiscriminately. A debate is necessary on this point, even to determine the real significance of this extraordinary potential revolution in matters of massive and practically instantaneous information that surely covers, to mention a number, – scarcely – 10 percent of humanity, outside of those countries that are so-called “developed”.

Noosphere: neologism, introduced by the unorthodox priest, Pier Teilhard de Chardin in the 50s of the XX Century, and which refers to the field represented by the integration of consciousness, and the human conscience on the planetary level, as a product of evolution … this noosphere implies a transition towards the Omega Point, the Mecca of the conscience and the evolving intelligence of life, in transit, through what’s human (hominización) towards itself, that is to say, towards Infinity.
